Happy 2010 everyone! We hope the holidays were wonderful for you! Today we have a gorgeous project that you will want to make for your craft workspace! Brenda Hurd turned a plain cork board into a lovely place to hold her favorite photos and the ones she wants to scrap next. What a clever idea!

Bag-o-tags
Christmas Magic Buttons
Happy Holidays Buttons
Say it Simple 12 x 12 Chipboard (alphas)
Sugar and Spice Chipboard (swirl)
Posies
Sassy Pins
lace trim
fabric leaves
framed cork board
acrylic paints
Glimmer Mist
brown ink pad
Instructions:
1. Paint frame. Add distressed look with contrasting color.2. Dry brush the cork with shimmer paint.
3. Paint chipboard letters and swirl with acrylic paint and let dry. Spray on some Glimmer Mist.
4. Measure your cork board and cut papers to fit to make your pocket.
5. Layer smaller paper over larger. Tuck some lace trim between the two layers along the bottom. Stitch pieces together creating pocket.
6. Add pocket to cork board by inserting into frame between cork and frame. Secure with adhesive if necessary.
7. Add alphas and embellishments.
*Note: Brenda used brown ink to distress the edges of everything.

Was hoping to email you but didn't see an email listed anywhere.
I'm getting ready to name your Flower Book mini as one of my favorite products from 2009 in a new audio show, the Paperclipping Round Table. I noticed that Scrapbook.com has it on clearance, so I wanted to make sure you're not discontinuing it before I suggest people go get it. We record in a couple hours, so I'm hoping someone will see this quick and let me know! You can email me at the address below. Thanks!

I LOVED this idea, and happened to have an old, unused corkboard sitting in my garage that I dug out after seeing this blog post. Here's what I did with it. Just thought I'd share, to thank you for inspiring me :)
