Here we go again! It is week 2 of our totally fun Monday projects!! This weeks project was created by another BRAND NEW member of our DT!!...Anne Jo Lexander.... We have totally loved seeing all of the talent our new members hold, and know you are all going to enjoy it as well! The talented Ania has created this super cute card and bookmark! She has even been so kind to provide a product list, instructions, and even a pattern! Now you have no excuse of why you cant make some yourselves! :)

"Hi there!
I thought I’d share a cute little project with you – giving away handmade cards is great – being able to attach small, inexpensive and useful gifts along with the cards is even better! And it really does not take that long – depending on how complicated you want to do this."
Material-list
The Daily Grind: “Notebook doodles”, 8x8 paperpad, “Titles and tags”, “Printed chipboard shapes”
All Fall: “Rubons” and “stamp 2”
Leftover scraps
Fancy Pants “Clear Mix and Match” transparent die cuts
Chipboard-embellishment (I used a heart from “Creative books”)
Happy Holidays woven ribbons
Embossing powder, white and brown
Glossy accent
Crop a dile
Jumpring
3d foam
Sewing machine
Corner rounder
Directions:
1. Take out the 5.5x2.5” transparent rectangle from the transparent die cut-sheets. This will be our little gift – a bookmark. 2. Measure the card on the 12x12 sheet according to the bookmark. For this one I used these measurements

3. Score along the striped lines with a bonefolder or similar, and fold. “The bottom” flap will be the pocket that holds our bookmark. I sewed the edges of this one, but you can also just use a very thin strip of doublesided adhesive. I also used a corner-rounder on the corners to match the rounded corners of the bookmark.
4. Decorate the front and the insides of the card. Love how the 8x8” pad is so perfectly propositioned for cards! Use 3d foam to adhere stuff to the front – it gives a lovely and exciting dimension to the card.
5. Decorate the bookmark. I decided to leave the see-through transparent mostly bare. I think it’s pretty that way!!
6. I wanted to use my sewing machine to mark the edges. Love the effect!
7. Cover up the backside with paper next, carefully matching the front J
8. Cover the chipboard-heart with leftover-paper. Use the swirl-stamp and emboss the heart to decorate it further. Cover with glossy accent to make it more sturdy.
9. Punch holes and tie w/ a ribbon. I used a jump-ring to keep the ribbon in place on the bookmark.
10. Voila J A practical gift and a matching card to boot! J
