Hi Fancy Pants fans, Kim here...I hope you have enjoyed the TOMBOW blog hop this week?

I have to say that I have been so impressed with all the amazing inspiration shown, not that I am biased in any way or anything :). Thanks to all the designers involved, you girls are amazing!

Seeing as I am the last project for the week, I thought a double page challenge using the Timbergrove collection would be a great way to end off. My inspiration & challenge to you is 'SIMPLIFY your design', but go for 'DOUBLE' at the same time. My go-to scrapping style tends to be busy layering, so attempting a simpler style was challenging, yetliberating at the same time. To all you simple scrapbookers out there, "You might be onto something"...I think I am hooked.

To add uncluttered interest to my page I used x2 different patterns on each size of the page. I find doing this helps the overall design remain linear & clean. This is where the Tombow Stamp Runner adhesive came in real handy. It is strong & easy to apply to paper strips & photos. 

 

 Playing with fonts & digitally adding sentiments to ones photos is another great way to keep the page design clean & less cluttered. 

Not sure how to attach fussy shapes....? Try the Tombow Mono Glue Pen. It made adhering the white die-cut snowflakes a cinch to do.

Scattering your journaling around the page is a super way to say what you have to, in a creative way, adding extra visual texture too. I used my faithful typewriter to add mine, complete with mistakes LOL!

Hello, everyone!  It’s Izzy on the blog today. I’m delighted to be here as part of TOMBOW week. Tombow was the first adhesive I ever used in paper crafting and I have a soft spot for it – for good reason. It’s so reliable.

For my project, I made a Christmas layout using primarily Timber Grove. This is a great winter line and it works perfectly for holiday photos too. I pulled in a lot of red and aqua, one of my favorite color combinations.  I used the Tombow Stamp Runner to adhere the papers together. The runner glides on smoothly.  The adhesive is repositionable when first applied then sets to a permanent bond. Perfect!

The photos are of my son, age 3, who was shy about visiting Santa. At first my son would agree only to whisper his wish list to Santa. Finally, he got on Santa’s lap.

 

I placed the photos on the top left of the layout, then created a little scene at the bottom with tags, stickers and die cuts. The title anchors the page.  I used chalk ink on both the red and aqua letters to give them a little more depth. I love how easily the Fancy Pants alphas take ink.

 

The die cuts from the ephemera pack are some of my favorite embellishments. I pulled a few from the Merry Little Christmas collection to go with the theme of the page. I used Towbow foam tabs to give the die cuts some height. The tabs were super easy to apply and gave the page just the right dimension.

 

At the top of the page, I used a cute patterned envelope for both function and design. I love the fun pop of color and the envelope provided the perfect place to tuck in my son’s Christmas wish list.

I thought I would also play with Modeling Paste on this layout, along with a mask, to create those tiny 3D stars on the woodgrain background - how about you try to have fun with this amazing tool? Modeling Paste can be found at your Crafts store and will be perfect to create volume on any of your projects!

I love how sweet and colorful the Be Loved line is. You will find LOTS of gorgeous embellishments in this line!

Hello Angie here to share a cute tutorial on how to make these snow globes. *These snow globes do not have water in them as they contain paper*

Merry Little Christmas Mini Trees / Merry Little Christmas Button Set / Merry Christmas Ephemera Pack / Merry Little Christmas 6x6 Pad
 

First I took the lids from the jars and traced around some patterned paper from the Merry Little Christmas line.

 

I then took the lid and glued a stripe of paper around the outside.

 

After all the papers are glued down, I hot glued the trees to the lids.  Aren't those Fancy Pants Designs Mini Christmas Trees so cute?!!

 

I took the fake snow and added some glitter. 

 

I added the snow to the jar and then put the lid on the jar. Don't add too much or it will cover up the trees.

Here is a close up of each one of the jars.

Hello Fancy Pants Designs readers!!!  It's Julie here to share a sketch with you :) Sketches are a great way to jumpstart your creative process.  Here is the sketch I have to share with you today . . . 

 

This layout was made using the sketch, supplies from the Timbergrove & Merry Little Christmas collections AND some fabulous adhesive supplies from Tombow!!!  The photos had some pops of bright colors.  Rather than try to match them with the products I was using, I decided to go primarily neutral with my supplies.  This allowed the products to complement my photos, and the pictures themselves to really stand out!!

A few tucked tags and added stickers add some fun depth and layering to any layout!!  With the Tombow Stamp Runner adhesive, I was able to add adhesive to my photos, patterned papers, tags and more :)  

 

My title work is a mixture of a die-cut words from patterned paper and the Fancy Pants Corrugated Paper.  For a thin die-cut word like the "winter", the Tombow Mono Glue Pen was perfect at covering the small spaces just enough to make them easily adhere down to my page. 

 

The card I created showcased many of the same features of the sketch, simply at a smaller scale.  Here I used the sketch, the Timbergrove collection, and my Tombow Stamp Runner adhesive.

Hey everyone! I'm here today with my projects using the new Fancy Pants Designs collection called Collecting Moments and the fabulous adhesives from Tombow! I'm sort of an adhesive junkie as I never know what I might need so it was fun creating with the variety of products that Tombow sent!

First up is a layout I created.

I loved the Tombow Stamp Runner Dot adhesive for most of the heavy lifting on this layout. I used it on the photos, papers and even that wood title and they aren't going anywhere!

For a little dimension on my layout, I turned to the Tombow Power Adhesive Tabs. I loved that these provide just a bit of lift to my paper triangle collage without being too distracting. Just a little pop!

Next I created a card.

Once again, using the Tombow Stamp Runner Dot adhesive for most of my adhesive needs including a paper flower made from circle punches.

For the button on the flower, I turned to the Tombow Power Adhesive Tabs again to hold that guy in place. I also used them on my title banner strip to give just a bit of pop and dimension.

I had a lot of fun using my Tombow products to create these two projects.  I found I really love the Tombow Glue Pen.  It works with all those little piece you need to adhere down.  I also love the Tombow Stamper Runner combo, very easy to use and loved having the options of two different ways to apply the tape.

Hi everyone! It's Tombow week and I *never* underestimate the value of a good adhesive. There is nothing more frustrating than creating a project and having elements fall off because the glue isn't strong enough or you don't have the right product.  Luckily Tombow has every type of adhesive you can think of and they are dynamite for any embellishment you have. 

I used several adhesives on this layout and card, including the Stamp Runner, Power Tabs, and Glue Pen.

As you can see I had a lot of layers to adhere to this page and they were all different weights.  Sometimes you need a thin adhesive like the super fun to use Stamp Runner for paper and light materials and sometimes you need something with serious grip like the Power Tabs. 

I added visual interest with some watered down mist painted on to look like watercolor paints and molding paste for texture.

Another great feature to the Power Tabs is that they are slightly raised.  I used them on this card to elevate the center sentiment card:
