I am so happy to be here today to share my creative space!!
I used to keep all my scrap supplies in our basement, but when we moved to our current home one of the first things I did was set claim to the home office :)
I am big on organization in my crafting space, and have LOTS of little spaces to house all my supplies. This makes it easier for me to find exactly what I need. When you first enter my room, you will see this large storage space on the wall. It consists of a number of small cubes from my local crafting store, combined together to create a massive center of embellishment organization. This unit houses pretty much any and all embellishments I have, by brand. Above the cubes are two small hutch systems placed side by side.
There are lots of little cubbies on this to display projects I've made. Also, to the left you will see a 3-tiered basket. This contains a bulk of my border punches.
The wall to the left contains another storage unit. This is full of cubbies housing paper holders, labeled by manufacturer, to hold all my patterned paper. The top four cubbies hold baskets containing punches.
Next to that is a small closet. It is bit oddly shaped, as there is a slanted wall. On the slanted wall I placed 4 coat rack holders. Here, I have all my ribbons hanging by color. This makes it super easy to find what I need!! The wire shelves hold a variety of camera supplies, crafting tools, and papercrafting kits.
To the right of the doorway is more storage. Again, I configured a number of cubes to create all sorts of places to organize my supplies. These drawers hold stamps, tools, paint, brads, chipboard, and more. The open cubes in the middle contain my albums and all my card stock, organized my color. On top of the unit you will see two typewriters that I use often for journaling.
Right in front of the windows is my workspace. It is made up of two saw-horse like desks and a small unit of cubes. On the desks you will find my computer, printer, and scanner. The cubes contain a variety of alphas, rub-ons, and 6 x 6 paper pads. I also have some current kits I am using in the open cubbies.
This close up of my desk shows you my most frequently used supplies. The basket contains scissors, journaling pens, adhesive, and rulers. My Silhouette and sewing machine are right at arm's reach as I often use them on projects.
While I have lots of older Fancy Pants Designs products within various storage spaces, I keep my most current supplies in this portable file folder tote. Each collection is placed in a large ziploc bag and the entire container is tucked under my desk when not in use.
Thanks so much for letting me share my creative space!!
