I loved working with the As You Wish line to create this page of my new daughter, Adlyn. When I saw the "My World" patterned paper, with the pre-printed phrase "you are my world," I knew it would be the perfect foundation for my layout.
I love to incorporate white space in my layouts, so I kept most of the weight of the page in the bottom right half. I used the "This and That" patterned paper to make arrows to draw your attention to the title and photo.
I clustered my embellishments around the photo. I love the variety of buttons and chipboard and stickers that come in Fancy Pants Designs collections!
To maintain the white space, but add subtle pattern and color to the center of my layout, I used the new vellum available from Fancy Pants Designs to create a faux shaker box. I cut a large "A" with my Silhouette Cameo and traced it on my page. I filled the space by adhering punched hearts in a scattered pattern and then sewed the vellum "A" over the hearts. I love the effect!
Whether you are scrapping a boy, a girl, your travels or your everyday, the As You Wish collection is a sure bet for a great page!
