Hello Fancy Pants Designs fans!!

For my post today I have used the Memories Captured collection. It is a great collection to use for making some all occasion cards, which are great to have on hand!

For my first card, I started by stitching the two background pieces together. I then selected my sentiment and layering pieces and adhered them all together separate from the card base. There really isn't a rhyme or reason for that, simply that it is easier for me to assemble it that way. I can stitch and staple things easier. I then added the sentiment layers to the card base using some foam adhesive.

There are so many ways to use the new cork shapes. For this card I added a few staples, just because. Think outside the box and try different things! You never know what you will end up liking!

The next card I pulled out my circle punches. I laid out my design and stitched down my punched circles. I stapled down my chipboard pieces (my favorite way to adhere them), and stitched down a few buttons. I added the little bit of stitching in the corner just for some added interest.

This card was hugely inspired by the Memories Captured Panorama Paper.

Card #3 started with the Memory reel piece from the Ephemera Pack. I have been wanting to use it, and was able to add it to this card. I started by stitched down the different layers, and then adding the Decorative Bag and Tag. I used some foam adhesive to pop up the sentiment and then added my buttons and star sticker.

I just love all the pieces that come with this collection. It makes it so easy to layer and embellish your cards or layouts!

The next card started with adding my papers and stickers first, then doing my stitching. I knew I wanted to stitch over the sentiment sticker, but I also wanted to have some dimension on the card. To please both of those needs, I added some foam adhesive to half of the sticker, and then simply stitched over the other end. I stapled down the chipboard star and the top-right sentiment, and then stitched around the outside edge of the card.

The boldness of the Black Alpha Stickers was enough to keep this card on the simpler side.

For my final card I started by picking my sentiment and my layering and embellishing pieces. I adhered the different layers alternating between stitching and stapling. I tucked the sentiment into a corner piece (love that look) and added the camerea and chipboard star.

I like adding the random staples in open areas to fill them without adding a lot of interest.
