Hello Angie here to share a fun new challenge with you! I love banners and love having them hanging around.
So my challenge is to MAKE A BANNER!
Here is my banner using the brand new Fancy Pants Designs line called Wonderful Day. This line is so bright and cheery! I wanted to make a banner for my girls and so I created one that said "SISTERS".
Capture Memories Emphemera Pack/ Wonderful Day Reminder / Wonderful Day Astounding /Wonderful Day Awe-Inspiring / Wonderful Day Remarkable / Wonderful Day Outstanding /Wonderful Day Label Stickers / Wonderful Day Decorative Bags / Wonderful Day Pennants /Wonderful Day Button Set /Square Cork Label Stickers / Artist Editiom Filters / Artist Edition Pink Trim / Artist Edition Metal Frames
To create this banner I first cut out banner pieces from some of the patterned paper.
I then took each banner piece and machine sewed around the center pieces.
After I had the pieces sewed I went to town decorating each banner.
I also want to mention I cut the letter out on my Cameo using the patterned paper from the wonderful day collection.
I just love the cute flairs and the Emphemera pack from the new Capture Memories line.
And aren't those new cork board pieces amazing?! I think so!
And in this close up you can see the cute metal charms. I added a picture to this one.
And in this close up you can see I used some of the super fun filters.
After the banner pieces were all decorated I then took some Fancy Pants Design ribbon and sewed across the top of each banner to put them all together.
Hope I inspired you to go create a banner!!

I've just created a banner for this week-end's family bbq. I love banners--it makes any occasion feel extra festive you can view it on my blog at dpl-designs.blogspot.com or on my Facebook page. Hope you like it!

I love making banners ! Our fireplace mantel wears one for each holiday. Right now it has a very patriotic theme. I put it up in May for Memorial Day and figure it can stay up right through 4th of July.
