I don't know about you, but WE are ready for some warm weather over in our neck of the woods!!! Being that is was a long winter of mostly dreary, cold days, I was instantly drawn to the fun, bright color palette of the Down By The Shore Collection. I pulled out a photo of my son & nephew enjoying some rays at the beach, and paired it with tons of goodies from this awesome warm weather collection.

I decided to use three of the patterned envelopes as photo mats of sorts. I glued all three down, overlapping them a bit, and tucked my photo right underneath the flaps. An easy way to "ground" your photo onto the page!!
Those little pennant flags were too cute not to use, so I staggered three of them in the top corner of my layout. The patterned envelopes provided a great way to house them, as I simply tucked them underneath the flap.
Since my background was white, I added lots of fun colored mist splatters to accent the colors from the Down By The Shore Collection. If you look close, I added some of the little fish rub-ons in the collection here and there - my version of beach confetti!!!
I LOVE title work, and had tons of fun mixing bits and pieces from the collection. The title is housed on a sheet from the Brag Pad. To that I added some fun alpha stickers & the word "happy" from the Adventure Set Quote Stencils. To make the letters "pop" a bit more, I backed any empty spaces with patterned paper. In addition I added in the chipboard anchor on one side and then hand-cut some of those gorgeous flowers from the Cruise patterned paper for the other side.
I also created a fun everyday card with the Down By The Shore collection. Once again, I used a patterned envelope and tucked a patterned photo frame containing the sentiment and some accent embellishments right into it.

Here you can see the fun sun I made using one of the stickers in the collection, and a number of the toothpicks included with the pennants. They were easy to snip in half and tuck in behind the sticker.
If you are still experiencing winter-like weather in YOUR neck of the woods, enjoying diving into some of your own Down By The Shore collection. It's sure to brighten up your day and get you thinking warm weather thoughts!!
