Pocket Chick Spotlight: Suzanne Sergi

Hello Fancy Pants Designs Fans!  My name is Suzanne Sergi, and I live in Orange County with my three gorgeous children. I have two girls that love competitive cheer, and a son that loves every sport! I am originally from Texas, and someday, I hope to return to my home state. This is my second term with Fancy Pants Designs, and I love being a Pocket Chick! Scrapbooking is such an important part of my life, and I am very thankful to be a part of this talented design team! Fancy Pants Designs has some of the best products in the industry, and I love seeing what they will come out with next!

For my page I used the Hopscotch collection, and I love, love this paper line! So soft, and vibrant at the same time! A bit of shabby, and distressed papers make this such a fresh collection! The papers are gorgeous, and I had fun mixing together the different patterns to create my own embellishments!







Q: What is your favorite technique?
A: Well, I love the look of embossing on my papercrafting projects! So, my embossing folders are always within reach. They add instant texture to paper, and add dimension, without a lot of extra bulk. Perfect for creating your own embellishments. Embossing Folders are hands down my favorite tool!

Q: If someone was to walk into  your scrap room/area right now, what would they find?
A: Well, right now, I will admit it is in a bit of disarray. I recently moved, so you will find scrapbooking product in every room at the moment. I am almost finished with the reorganization, and unpacking so soon my favorite scrapbooking products will have a new home. Finally! My desk is in our kitchen area, and this is probably the only area that I do strive to keep clean. I try, and scrapbook a bit everyday, even it is only fifteen minutes. So my desk has to be clean, and organized at all times.

Q: What type of camera do you use?
A: I use a Nikon D90.

Q: What is your favorite Fancy Pants Desigs product?
A: My favorite product from Fancy Pants Designs are the papers! I think this was my answer last time, too. I love their patterns, and unique designs. You will find beautiful patterns on one side, and a solid color on the other. Perfect for creating a page, and using the patterns to create your own creative embellishments.

Q: What do you listen to or watch while scrapbooking?
A: While I scrapbook you will find me listening to country music, or watching my favorite TV Show, I Love Lucy. I never tire of the episodes! I may not be actually watching it, but I need to have this in the background as I am designing.

Q: What kind of scrapper would you consider yourself to be?
A: I feel that I am simple scrapbooker with lots of clean lines, and small details throughout. I do tend to scrapbook one photo pages most of the time. Sometimes, I think all you really need is one photo to convey the story. I also have a love for mini albums, and altered projects. Occassionally, you might  see  a card from me, too!
