Hi Everyone, I've got a fun and simple home decor project to share with you guys today - a little something I created using the gorgeous Time For Spring collection, for my "somewhat-new" apartment (although we moved in about 2.5 months ago, I just finished unpacking my last box yesterday. YES finally!!!)
Fancy Pants Designs Supplies:
Time For Spring: Spring Floral Pattern Paper
Time For Spring: Tip Me Over Pattern Paper
Time For Spring: Honeycomb Pattern Paper
Time For Spring: Alpha Stickers
Time For Spring: Die Cuts
Childish Things: Trims
Assorted Buttons
Other Supplies:
Cardstock (brown)
Chipboard
Chipboard Alphabets
Mist (to be used on the alphabets)
White Paint
Instructions:
1. Once you have gathered all the supplies that you might need, then depending on the size of chipboard that you have, you'll need to cut them into 4 rectangular cards (mine are 4"x6"); that will be used as the backing for each of the cards.
2. Then in putting together the cards, I first started by adhering a dark brown cardstock onto one of the chipboard sides, in order to create that outline look when I later adhere the red grid pattern paper. Then cutting out various hexagon designs and flowers from the other two pattern papers (along with tons of foam dots), I layered the elements onto the cards leaving space in the middle for the alphabets/letters.
3. Next using the widest ribbon from the childish things trim set, I adhere the ribbon onto the backside of the cards leaving a bit of space between each of cards. Do make sure that you use super duper glue/adhesive and that the trim is adhere fully to the cards (this will make it more sturdy when you display the cards).
4. Then after selecting the chipboard letters that I need and with a coat of blue mist, I adhered the letters onto the cards using foam dots (to add more dimension to the project).
5. And to create that shabby chic feel, I lightly brushed white paint over some the elements and also certain areas of the pattern paper. I used a dry paint brush, so that you would get a more streaky look and feel.
6. Finally, I added some buttons here and there and used the Time For Spring alphabet stickers to completed my title for this little Home Sweet Home decor piece.
A big thanks for stopping by and hope your week is off to a great {creative}start!
This is just too cute!! I gotta make one!! Thanks for the inspiration!!!

At some point in our lives, we must have asked the question "How much is my house worth?". It could be the tiny flat we first moved into upon turning 21, or the 5-bedroom, 2-story brick house we spent most of our childhood in. Yes, the one with the white picket fence.

Many professionals have shied away from becoming self-employed because of the risks, but is it starting to become the safer bet?

Made to look like real fish in hot tubs. There should be enough ventilation in the room where a hot tub, you don't have to be taken care of. An open tub can be a worthwhile solution, including a further measure of security.
