I will admit that I have been a big fan of 3L Scrapbook Adhesives. Their E-Z Runner Permanent Adhesive, is the only tape dispenser I used when I am paper crafting. When I can find the combo pack, I always stock up! One feature I love is the no hassle of having to refill! Once I am done with it, I can simply move on to a new one! Now, for this project I did step out of my box, and tried the new My Stik tape runner. I have seen this in our local scrapbook store, and have been a bit curious on how it works. After using it for this page, I am instantly in love! This tape runner will definitely add some color to your scrapbooking bag. It is fully customizable, and it can also be adjusted to feel comfortable in your hand! Great, and smooth application. Also, because I love to add layers to my projects, I know that my embellishments, and photos are going to stay exactly where I position them!
This photo is of my daughter with one of her best friends, was perfect with the Childish Things collection. It is definitely on the list of my favorites paper collections! I love everything about it! The colors are colorful, and the patterns are playful! A perfect combination for documenting all those photos of my children when they were younger. If only they could stay little for just a bit longer!
I love to emboss on different layers of my page. This gives the element much more dimension, which means I am going to need a very strong adhesive. So behind the herringbone brown paper, I used the Crafty Power Tape dispenser. Love that it is super tacky, and that I can cut it while on the dispenser. No more hunting for my scissors! It is double sided, and think this will now be my go to tape on mini chipboard albums!
Finally, I do love creating my own embellishments! On this flower it has several blooms, layered together, so I also used the crafty power tape to adhere them together! You can also see a small peek of the vellum butterflies. Vellum is definitely a very thin paper, and needs to be adhered with a strong adhesive too. For this element, I used the E-Z Permanent Squares from the pink tape runner. I was already a fan, but now have a few new favorites to add to my scrapbooking inventory. A girl can never have too many adhesives!
