In the middle of the winter, it sure is nice to get a glimpse of summer to make you feel warm inside, isn't it? I'm sure our Pocket Chicks were feeling this way when they were creating with the new Beach Bum collection. Take a look at their fun creations.
Beach Bum Frame by Trish Harwick
Trish says, "I have been wanting to frame these beach photos of my son for a while, so when I saw this line, I knew it was meant to be! I embellished the cut out and fussy cut some waves and added sewing for texture. Those cute little fish added the perfect touch of whimsy."
Summer Fun by Brenda Hurd
Brenda says, "I love the cardstock embellishment designs, that go with the new lines, they are perfect for making the theme of a layout POP without making it feel cheesy. The Beach Bum are my favorite with those cute little fishies to add the finishing touches. The Journal Embellishments are wonderful too if your anything like me and always forget to leave a place for journaling."
Summer by Vicki Chrisman
Vicki explains, "I've been wanting to scrap these photos for some time now ... and when I saw this line, I was so excited! Perfect for these boy photos."
Beach Party Invitation by Leah Farqharson
Leah says, "Both of our boys have summer birthdays, and living only minutes from the beach, it's the perfect way to celebrate! I loved layering the fun patterns and elements from beach bum to create this eye-catching invite!"
Endless Summer by Guiseppa Gubler
Guiseppa says, "The fun, bright and happy collection of Beach Bum, was perfect to help me capture the joy and excitement my little nephew felt while swimming in Bear Lake!
Hello Summer by Lisa Andrews
Lisa says, "I have a weakness for all sorts of journaling tags and cards, so I was very excited to see a full pack of journaling cards that coordinate with the Beach Bum line. Usually, just one journaling space is needed on a layout, but I made room for 2 different journaling cards on this layout since I couldn't decied which one to use."
Summer Beach Summer Sun card by Charity Hassel
Charity explains, "I handcut the waves from patterned paper, layered and added buttons from this line to finish."
Summer by Jen Martakis
Jen says, "This layout was so much fun to create. I really wanted to showcase the super fun patterns and colors of the papers in this collection so I stared with a sketch by Page Maps. I just loved the little squares. Some of my favorite elements in the Beach Bum collection are the adorable fish. They are just the cutest!"
Gone Snorkeling by Pamela Young
I wanted to use the flip flops on my page ... I just LOVE them, but I also knew I was doing a page about snorkeling. So I added a scene to my layout, including a little house and arranged the flip flops like the were on a clothes line coming off the house. So the flip flops are hung while the flippers are on. :)"
Summer Beach Summer Sun by Suzanne Sergi
Suzanne says, "Beach Bum is such a fun and whimsical collection! The colors are beautiful, and one of my favorite papers is the ledger paper. I used this to anchor my snapshot of my son. The journaling diecuts were perfect as embellishments, too. I finished my embellishment cluster, by adding the glitter diecut drops, at the top of my large circle element. I also pulled in a ticket from the It's the little things collection!"
Thanks for stopping by again today! Be sure to come back tomorrow for projects created by out Pocket Chicks using It's The Little Things!

Gosh, I need those papers BADLY. My son LOVES water and it's so hard to find a summery line I like that doesn't have lots of pinks in it. Beautifully created!

Well, Jodi owns the company so I think she would be the longest! But maybe she wasn't a Pocket Chick the whole time so I guess I will go with the crowd and say Vicki Chrisman.
