So, you got a little taste of the new Beach Babe collection a few days ago ... well, how about some projects using this fun new collection? Our Pocket Chicks have been having a blast playing with the new product. Take a look at all of their fun creations! We know you'll be inspired!
Princes of the Pool by Charity Hassel
Charity explains, "I layered transparencies, diecuts and patterned papers to make this page. I love those adorable fish!!"
Splash Woo Hoo! by Allison Landy
Allison says, "The bright, fun colors and patterns of Beach Babe drew me in immediately! Beach Babe is the perfect summer line and was just what I needed to showcase my trip to Lake Powell. I added a die cut filter sprayed with ink for a fun added touch."
Frame by Vicki Chrisman
Vicki explains, "This is a Dollar store frame that I altered using the ohhh.. so cute.. Beach Babe line. I did the majority of the layout under the glass, but also added some of the "self-adhesive" chipboard pieces to the outside of the glass for added dimension."
Summer Sweeties by Amy Peterman
I love the flocked, polka-dotted transparency in this collection! It made for a fun background and coordinated with my daughter's swimsuit so well ... and I am IN LOVE with the sparkley Glitter Cuts in this collection ... I mean, look at those adorable flip-flops! Too cute! I can't wait to create more with Beach Babe.
Seaside Escape by Suzanne Sergi
Suzanne says, "I loved the Beach Babe Collection when I received it! It just screamed summertime, and it was perfect for this snapshot of my daughter on the Beach. The papers are full of colors, and fun graphics! With this page, I was able to play with the new paper filters! On the yellow filter, I simply misted, and misted again using a dot template. I wanted to create faint white dots on this embellishment. The filters absorb the color perfectly, and are a wonderful weight, too! I used it to anchor my home made flower. I created a flower to resemble the one on the paper itself. Of course, one of my favorite elements from Fancy Pants, are the premade title strips. Seaside Escape described this snapshot perfectly!"
Sweet by Cindy Tobey
Cindy says, "I love the colors and patterns of the Beach Babe collection - which worked beautifully for these photos of my daughter and son. For the layered border along the bottom of my page I started with the yellow patterned paper, covered it with a strip of the flocked polka dot transparency, added a scallop punched strip of the stripe paper, and to finish it off I tucked a few of the filter papers (that I misted with blue ink) under the striped paper strip."
Beach Bum by Jen Martakis
Jen says, "This is a seriously cute collection. I am in love with the Chipboard Banners. They add just the perfect touch to your layout."
Sunshine Sweetie by Lisa Andrews
Lisa says, "As I was putting this layout together, I noticed that the filter paper would make a cool sun embellishment if I misted it yellow. After misting the filter, I gave it a couple of minutes to dry and the adhered it to the page."
Play by Pamela Young
Pamela says, "I printed all my photos together, leaving one spot for my journaling. Then I layered papers and embellishments over the empty spot and added my journaling. My paper near the bottom is slightly rolled up, to varying heights, to add dimension and style to my layout."
Soak Up The Sun by Guiseppa Gubler
Guiseppa says, "The Beach Babe collection was so easy to use. All of the cute
embellishments and paper made it so easy to create this beachy layout of my
niece!"
So, aren't you just loving this new line? And, are you wondering about the fun Filter Paper Embellishments used on some of these layouts? They are a part of our Artist Edition collection, which you'll get to see more of in the next few days. So, keep coming back! Jodi will be here again this afternoon with a sneak peek at another new collection, and tomorrow, we'll be posting projects using To The Moon. See you soon!

Love it. Can't wait to find it. It's so hard to find good paper these days with all the LSSs going out of business. Closest store is now 100 miles away. This gives me incentive for a road trip.
