Instructions
1. Cut down your French Press paper to 12 x 6.75”. Cut down your Dainty Print to 3 x 10” and also a 8 x 5” piece.
2. Choose a journaling page out of the journaling book, I decided to use the ‘dreams are whispers from our soul’ page.
3. Use some cheap paper doilies as a mask to create some glimmer misted doily patterns. You can create the back of your chic stripes paper. Carefully cut around the design once it is dry.
4. Adhere down your paper designs. Onto your Summer Soiree Sunkissed paper, loosely place your French Press paper running down the middle of the page. Next tuck your 3 x 10” Dainty Print piece under the right hand side of your French Press paper, so it sits in the middle towards the right. Next tuck your two paper doily patterns under the left hand side of your French Press Paper. Carefully adhere these pieces down once your are happy with their placement.
5. Next loosely place your photo in the middle towards the top of your page. Slide your 8 x 5” of Dainty Print under the bottom left of the photo. Under both of these pieces slide in your journaling page so it sits on the right bottom side of your photo. Once you are happy with the placement of the pieces, adhere them down.
6. Next cut out three large circles out of your Flocked Transparency, I hand cut mine but they are around 2.5” in diameter. Cut out three circles that are slightly smaller at around 2” in diameter and lastly 3 small circles around 1.5” in diameter. Simply layer the three sizes on top of each other to make a lollipop flower. Use a brad through the center as well as through the paper to adhere them down. That way you can avoid having to battle with choosing an adhesive that will be invisible. Adhere down your three lollipop flowers.
7. Embellish your page with a title and subtitle. I chose to add some sewing to pull all my page designs together. Add some journaling if you wish.
Quick and easy, plus these flocked lollipop flowers will give you the ‘oomfph’ your page needs to make a statement. Have a go at making some of your own embellishment designs using some of our scrumptious flocked transparencies!
