Hi, Nicole here today to share with you a trend that is still very HOT . . . mustaches!
I've seen them in home decor, fashion, accessories, and even in scrapbooking. Fancy Pants Designs has some great mustache themed items available in the Swagger collection and I'll share a few ways I used this trend.
My son decided to be a Gentleman ghost for Halloween and provided the perfect subject for my mustache themed layout. I chose from many different pattern papers and then started layering them.
Swagger Paper Dependable / Swagger Paper Success / Swagger Paper Top Hat / Swagger Paper Mustache Fever / Swagger Paper Strips / Swagger Patterned Envelopes / Swagger Ephemera Pack / Swagger Label Stickers / Swagger Sticker Fundamentals / Swagger Cool Gray Corragate Paper / Swagger button set / Swagger Clips
I matted my picture and tucked it into one of the patterned envelopes. I placed some of the fun die-cuts from the Swagger Ephemera Pack around my photo and finished my layout off with a die-cut title and some computer printed journaling.
I didn't stop with just a layout though and wanted to share a card as well. I found this fun sentiment browsing on Pinterest one day and was so excited to use it for this card.
I went through and picked some of the smaller patterns from the Swagger Brag Pad (which are so perfect for cards) and chose the mustache pattern that I trimmed to fit my card base. I then went back through and picked a couple more paper: one of a large mustache and the other a journaling card. I trimmed the designs out and adhered them with some pop dots to give my card dimension. The sentiment was added with some letter stickers and die-cut letters. To keep 'fan(tache)tic' together I adhered it first to a small piece of vellum and then using more pop dots added that above the mustache.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope you enjoyed.
Be sure to share your mustache inspired projects.- Nicole
