1st Wheels by Staci Taylor
The Trucks and Cars paper is perfect for Staci's adorable photos. Did you notice that she cut some of the cars out of the paper to use as embellishments? I love the one "driving" up the edge of the star!

Playin in the Sand by Amy Peterman
Amy has beautifully used just a portion of the Graph Star paper on her playful layout. Did you notice that she crinkled some of the Embellish Boy Stickers before adding them to her page? I love the texture it adds. Very fun detail, especially for a boy themed page!

On the Go by Kay Rogers
Notice how Kay has accentuated the star designs by adding felt stars to the Arrow Half Bracket die cut paper and to the Embellish Boy Stickers. Such a fun design detail.

Star Bowler by Vicki Chrisman
I love that Vicki used the die cut Graph Star paper as her background, without adding it to a square piece of paper. Did you notice the bowling ball that she made out of a chipboard circle by punching 3 holes into it? So clever!

Not only are these stamps perfect for layouts and projects featuring your summer memories, they also work great for those everyday moments too (see Ronda's at the bottom of this post).

Our Playground by Michelle Filo.
Michelle used several of these fun stamps (flowers, scalloped border, arrow) to accent her beautiful layout of her kids playing in the summer sun.

123 Slide by Cindy Tobey.
Cindy makes a splash in this layout about her son on the slip-n-slide.

Cindy-123-Slide

Cindy used two of the wave stamps, which she overlapped. She then sprayed mist (Cindy used Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist) over the top for a splashed look.

Cindy-123-Slide-detail

Cindy also used the scalloped border stamp, stamped on cardstock and then cut out as an accent.

Logan by Ronda Palazzari
Ronda used the label stamp, circle journal, scalloped border, dotted border, and stars on her layout about her daughter's good friend. Don't you love how Ronda stamped the circle journal stamp three times in different colors, giving her self plenty of space for journaling?

From This to This by Staci Taylor.

From-this-to-this1

Staci used a watermark ink on the wing stamp, stamped it twice on orange paper, heat embossed the wings with UTEE and then cut them out. She then added glitter to the wings to give them a little shimmer. Beautiful!

From-this-to-this2

To make her chipboard arrows appear grungy looking, Staci first covered them with two different colored inks. Then she used the dot border stamp on top of the inks for a cool effect.

Fly by Michelle Filo.

Michelle used the wing stamps from this set as well. She stamped the wings onto transparency for a light fluttery look. She also used the journaling spot stamp.

Ronda P Owen Frame

Owen by Ronda Palazzari
Ronda cleverly used a clear page from the Mixed Media Square Book in a White 8 x 8 On Display Frame. Those 8 x 8 Mixed Media pages fit perfectly in this frame, and I love the clear background with the printed white numbers. Such a great idea and lovely framed page!

Freedom-frame

Freedom by Cindy Tobey
Cindy created a fun patriotic page for her 8 x 8 Black frame. She machine stitched strips of red paper right onto the back of the frame insert. She also added white cardstock behind the red strips. Everything else she added to the front of the clear insert. Cindy used her computer and printed out "USA." She then used the print out as a template to cut "USA" from some scrap cardboard.

Freedom-frame-detail

You can see here how Cindy stitched right through the clear frame insert.

Jodi-frame-1-adjusted

Sisters by Jodi Sanford
Jodi created a lovely frame with a photo of her beautiful daughters and a favorite quote. She used Double Alpha Rubons for her quote and created a simple and beautiful machine stitched border on the clear insert of her 6 x 8 Black frame.

Jodi-frame-2-adjusted

I love that Jodi added this beautiful wreath of berries around her frame.

Product Spotlight: Summer Soiree Rubons

This week the spotlight is on our Summer Soiree Rubons. We love these fun, bright, rubons that are sure to add a bit of summer to any scrapbook page or project!

Summer Soiree Rubons

Summer Days by Kay Rogers
Kay started with our Summer Soiree: Paradise Transparency, and added some of the rubons to further embellish her page. I love that she used a flower rubon over the bottom left corner of her photo to balance the transparency flowers over the opposite corner. Notice how she also used the "summer" rubon as part of her title!

Kay Rogers SummerDays

Just Beachy by Ronda Palazzari
Ronda used quite a few of the Summer Soiree rubons to embellish her layout. She added lots of rubons right onto her background paper around her photo. She then added the flower rub-ons to chipboard that she had painted. She cut the flowers out and layered them over the other rubons with foam adhesive. I love that they look just like printed chipboard embellishments! She also added rub-ons right onto the chipboard letters! And isn't it cool how she added the red frame rubon to overlap a tag, her background paper and the photo?!

Ronda Just Beachy

Both of these layouts have me longing for summer! Good thing it is almost here! Have a great weekend and check back on Monday for our next Fancy This project!

Product Spotlight: On A Whimsy Transparencies

Our On A Whimsy printed transparencies are in the spotlight this week. These beautiful, bright designs are printed on a clear 12 x 12 transparency. They work great as a whole or cut up into smaller pieces.

5803db9fa6cf4539b35e3c1f28247702.image.400x422

Amy Peterman used a portion of the Ray of Sunshine transparency on this super cute layout of her darling daughter. Amy painted, machine stitched and added paper in front of and behind the transparency to achieve this fun look.

Amy P RayOfSunshine

Cindy Tobey used the entire Sprout transparency as the background of this playful page. She added paper, felt, hand stitching, ribbon and buttons to the transparency. When Cindy layered the transparency over the blue patterned paper she didn't like how dark it made the sun look. To fix this she simply backed the sun portion of the transparency with white copy paper. Another way to keep the sun looking bright yellow would be to paint with white or yellow paint directly on the back of the transparency under the sun design.

Smile-web

Vicki Chrisman used a portion of the Sprout transparency on this adorable wall hanging! She used the sunshine and flower from the transparency along with rub-ons and patterned paper from the On A Whimsy collection for her fun home decor piece. Notice how she placed the flower from the transparency in the little girl's hand? So clever!
