Hi Fancy Pants Designs friends! I have a fun set of cards for you today! I have used the fabulous mid-releases, Timber Grove and Be Loved. Since Christmas is officially over, I decided to go with a Winter theme, with a few New Years cards thrown in!
I love using the decorative tags, both large and small, for cardmaking. They make fabulous layering pieces and bases for clustering. For my first card, I started with stitching my two background pieces together, and then building my cluster up onto both the large and small decorative tags.
Another favorite thing I do with the tags is wrapping up the string and stapling it down. A fun, little look that's different from the basic bow. :)
The next card came about because of that fabulous ticket! I attached it to the large decorative tag and used a clothespin to hold it all together. I adhered the hot cocoa ephemera piece and buttons as a final touch.

I just love the look the ticket from the ticket roll gives!
My next card is another where I just started clustering embellishments together and came up with this arrangement! There are so many fabulous pieces that go with these collections, it really makes it easy to put together fabulous cards!
I added some stitching to the flourish piece, and attached some of the other embellishings with my little stapler. Little touches like those make me happy. :)
My next 2 card I used the super sweet and fun Be Loved collection. Although it is prominently a Valentine's collection, I decided to use it to make a few New Years cards.
I started this card by stitching around a few times, very messily, on the background. I then added my stickers and chipboard arrow and adhered the top piece down. I absolutely love the colors in this collection, and the background print is probably my favorite of the whole collection.
The final card was made with the banner as the focal point. But, I absolutely loved the tag and had to add it. So, the banner went on top.
This festive card was fun to make and perfect for the new year!!
I hope you have enjoyed today's post!
