I'm in a household surrounded by boys. I've come to terms with it and most days I'm all right with the lack of girly-ness around here. I do however like making the occasional girly scrapbook page and really like when I get to use flowers. Obviously I don't have a chance to use flowers often, but this time I made an exception for this layout of my youngest son. The flowers made the perfect embellishment and since they are a little rustic looking and blue I thought they would pass this time ;). He is after all doing a very boy thing and destroying those pretty bluebells.

I used the tape stickers from several different lines to make these cute little flowers. Choosing the stickers that supported my blue color scheme. Just follow the steps below to create your own.
After finishing up my tag I ended up making a few more little flowers and placed them in a visual triangle around my layout.
My hand cut title I made more indigo in color by using blue and purple chalk ink. It gave my layout the perfect finish and helped match the color of the bluebells in the photo.
Here is another quick example of this technique on a card.
Notice the little strip under the flowers. It's another tape sticker folded and the ends trimmed in a 'v'.
Hope you enjoyed my little tutorial today and remember flowers can be for boys. :)
