Hey Fancy Pants Designs fans!
I'm here today to share a fun sketch with you all. I have made examples, both in layout form as well as a card. Even better? I did it all using the new collections, BUT made Halloween projects!!
The sketch was made with the photos in mind, and having the elements and title complimenting them.
For my layout, I chose some fun photos of the boys carving their pumpkins. I love the seriousness in their faces, and then the joy and happiness in the middle picture!

I stuck to the sketch pretty literally, and made these cute, little pumpkins with a basic circle punch. Punch 3 circles, layer them, add in your stem and leaves, and draw a fun jack-o'-lantern face!
I popped up my title to give it some dimension, but also to make it stand out a bit more against the background.
I love to layer, and took the opportunity to do so in the opposing corners of the pictures.
For my card, I mixed the circular elements from the sketch, with the "photo squares" and made the same pumpkins, just in a smaller version of them. The "stitching" on the sketch was replaced with some basic twine, and then I moved the title to follow one of the threads.
I love how you can take any print in orange and add a jack-o'-lantern face and make it look like a pumpkin! An easy embellishment to add to something you want to be Halloween festive!
It was so fun to pull from the new non-Halloween collections and make such fun, festive projects! I hope this helps you to get creative with what you have!!
We would love to see what you make with the sketch! Please link up in the comments below or share with us on our Facebook page!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
