Hello Everyone! Vicki here today to share a couple of projects with you and talk a little bit about something that's been on a lot of peoples minds lately. Back to School! For many, school is already in full swing, and for others just around the corner, so you know the cameras will be out, ready to document that first day. Well Fancy Pants Designs "Off to School" Collection has so many fun elements for layouts, cards, altered projects ect. Today I'm sharing a first day of school layout and a card that would be great for a Teacher.
Today for my Trend I'm Choosing "APPLES". There are so many cute apple images in this line!
Off to School School Year/ Off to School Cards/ Off to School Favorite Teacher/ Off to School Measure up/ Off to School Element Stickers/ Off to School Rub-ons/ Off to School Tab Sticker/ Off to School Chalk Stickers / Off to School Chipboard Elements/ Fancy Pants Designs Buttons/ The Good Life Sticker Fundamentals
First of all I wanted to start with this fun apple paper "Favorite Teacher"as my background
I knew I wanted to incorporate this Apple "Chalk Sticker" into my title, for a real eye catcher :)
One of my very favorite things about Fancy Pants Designs Products is how they all work so well together. They just make putting a layout together a joy. For example in the photo below you can see how I layered an element from the rub-on sheet, that I put down first, with one of the pieces from the Design Embellishments, which I placed down next, with a chipboard element in the center to finish it off. Creating a fun dimensional element for my page.
Even these little journaling blocks from the "Cards" Sheet of paper have darling little apples on them.
And here is the Card I created, keeping apples in mind of course (wink).
Off to School ABC's/ Off to School New Shoes/ Off to School Cards/ Off to School Design Elements/Off to School Filter Embellishments/ Off to School Chipboard Elements/ Off to School Element Stickers/ The Good Life Sticker Fundamentals
I love these Filter Embellishments, but I often use them to create dimensional flowers, so this time I decided to use it for the background of my card, and I love the look.
Well, I hope I've inspired you with my Apple/School Themed projects today. Thank you so much for stopping by the Miss Fancy Pants Blog!
