Hello everyone!!! I'm excited to be here today to share an easy way of eliminating unwanted objects from your photos :)
There are a number of different ways to do this, depending upon your photo editing programs.
Today I will be using Photoshop CS6 to show you how to easily remove a simple object from your photo.
Please keep in mind that this tutorial works great for simple objects that don't overlap a number of different images. If you want to remove something overlapping a number of images/objects, a more complex process is involved.
The first step is to open your photo in Photoshop. Below is the photo I will be editing and the arrow shows you the object I want to eliminate from my photo.
The second step is to select the rectangular marquee tool from the Photoshop tool bar to the left.
The third step is to highlight the area you want removed using the rectangular marquee tool.
The fourth step is to select "Edit" and then select "Fill" from the drop down menu.
A pop-up box will appear in the center. Make sure the "Use" is on "Content-Aware" and select OK.
Your resulting photo will show the highlighted area now empty of the unwanted object!!

The close-up below displays all the fun, bright embellishments I used from this FABULOUS collection to create my title block. The cork circle was perfect to house the die-cut and sticker that made up my title!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Hope my tutorial helps you remove the next unwanted object from YOUR photos :)- Julie
