Hello Fancy Pants Designs friends!
Today I am sharing some cards with you using the amazing Swagger, Trend Setter & Park Bench collections. The cards are all very different, but have some common elements about them. For instance, they all have buttons (I count the felt flower centers as buttons), have machine stitching, and all of their backgrounds are from the different collection's brag pads.
Now, let's go through each card, shall we??
For my first card, I used the Trend Setter collection. I started off with the Hello banner sentiment from the Banner Die Cuts page. I then went to the brag pad for my background paper. I added the frame and the other banner strip, and then did my stitching. I lifted the banner ends on the right side of the card and stitched under them so they would hang over. I finished it off with the felt flower and buttons.

For card #2 I went with the Park Bench collection. I have to say that this color combo is one of my favorites! The brag pad is the star of this card, as the whole base of it is one sheet from the pad! I simply cut the sentiment part off, matted it on some smooth, black cardstock and added my stitching embellishments. Then, I stitched the sentiment back on and added the felt flower. All that was left was to adhere that to the cardbase (that is a great way to hide your stitching, too!)

The next card is made using the Swagger collection. I knew that I wanted to make a card using the felt pieces, but I thought it would be with one of the mustaches. But, after pushing paper around, I decided that the cute, little tie deserved his own card! The background is from the brag pad, and is matted on smooth, black cardstock. I cut my own banner, instead of one of the die cuts, as I really wanted to use the Success paper. I adhered my banner and sentiment, and then did my machine stitching. Then I added the buttons and felt tie, and adhered the card front to the card base.

On to card #4! For this one I used Trend Setter. After pulling out all of this collection for my first card, I knew that I wanted to make a card with the "call me..." sentiment. I also wanted to make a card from this collection using only the blue/green colors. I pulled out everything I wanted to use and just started placing things until I liked the over all look. I then stitched down the banners, and adhered the flair, the buttons and sentiment. I added some foam adhesive to the banner ends to give a little dimension to those pieces.
And here is your last card for today, using the Park Bench collection. The sentiment was so pretty sitting in the brag pad, but I knew that I wanted to cut it out, stitch on it, and then foam adhere it on to another paper. So, I did! I love how it looks like there is all these layers and dimension, but it is one, single sheet! I added some trim to the top and bottom and then stitched them down. I topped the card off with a button, and that is it!

And there you have it! I hope these cards inspire you to get out your Fancy Pants Designs products and get creative!!
