Today I would like to take you into my Mixed Media world and show you that you can alter your papers easily and quickly with a tiny bit of paints!
I decided to use TWO different Fancy Pants Design b&w papers, as I knew I wouldadd colors to them.
Whether you like acrylic paints, watercolor, crayons or mists, you can use almost anything to alter your papers and turn them into colorful masterpieces.
Here, I used some inks and regular watercolor to add some colorful details to my patterned papers. Then, I simply added tiny drops and splashes of inks using uncaped mists.
Make sure you choose b&w or grey papers to get great contrasts!
Swagger Gentleman paper / Park Bench Lightpost paper / Park Bench Felt Flowers / Park Bench Pennants / Trendsetter Label Stickers / Trendsetter Tape Stickers / Trendsetter Button Set / Etcetera Stickers / Artist Edition Stencil
My photo was printed on a 8,5x11 photo paper, with high contrast too - perfect to make bold colors pop!
Add some colorful embellishments, like yellow and blue felt flowers, for another kind of texture on you layout.
My title was made using the Artist Edition Stencil that I handcolored with watercolor.
Hope it inspired you and feel free to post your layouts on our Facebook page!
