Instructions:
For this project I'm going to show you how to make some simple, and quick (did I say quick) tags! We'll start with the JOY one... (if you know my designs, it goes without saying I inked everything!!!) I used the MERRY TREE paper and my large scallop circle punch to make one of the layers, and turned the stripes up and down (so it looks like wallpaper!)
Then I used one of my circle dies and cut a larger cream circle using the SEASONS paper. Using more of the SEASONS paper, I stamped the frame in brown and the JOY in red. Fussy cut this out, and glue so it looks like a large picture hanging on the wall!
Next, punch your tree out of the green side of MERRY TREE. Embellish with bling, add a sticker star and a small raffia bow. Glue this down... I fussy cut an ornament top from a small scrap square of MERRY TREE and tied a bit of raffia for the tie.
One down, 2 to go!! Using the same circle die and scallop punch, I used CHEER and PINE for this one. I also punched the snowflake out of the PINE. I loved the green dot tape sticker, so I stuck that down, and trimmed the scalloped edges. If you don't want to trim, it would probably look good going all the way across the tag! Layer the snowflake and the large Dec. 25th chipboard and adhere to your tag.
Add the bird so it looks like he's standing on the green tape sticker. Add bling and a small brown pearl for the bird's eye. Again, I fussy cut an ornament top, but tried making some scallops on it to be different from the last one. Tie your raffia and number two is done!!
The last design evolved from a friend of mine's idea to turn one of the banners upside down and make it a tree on a long-ish tag for a larger present! Great idea! I used the tiny chipboard banners and added JOY using the tiny alpha stickers. I used the SEASONS paper, and punched 3 small snowflakes. I added the tiny banners to them. Using the brown pattern sticker tape, I made a hanging banner of sorts for the JOY to rest on.
Using a tiny bit more, I made a tree trunk. I added some red bling and a star brad for the tree topper! Using the same small snowflake punch, I punched one in the MERRY TREE paper... added the raffia tie, and all done!
I hope you have enjoyed these and give them a try! A homemade tag is so wonderful, especially when you've made the gift as well! If you didn't want to use these as tags, they would also make great ornaments for your tree! Until the next time, happy scrappin'!
Toodles,

Hector Gabino/El Nuevo Herald/GettyDwyane Wade in ascending form against Atlanta.
"It means Charles Barkley needs to shut up," James said. "I mean, the man [Wade] is shooting 80 percent from the floor the last couple of games. That's like, crazy, right? That's why he is who he is. Unbelievable."
