Welcome to this week's Product Spotlight! Pocket Chicks, Jess Mutty and Greta Hammond, were asked to create with our Summer Soul Alpha and Elements Stickers (don't you love those fun, beachy colors?). Just look at what they came up with and what they had to say about these products.
Pretty In Pink by Jess Mutty
Jess says, "Aside from using the Summer Soul alpha stickers in the traditional way, I also layered a whole bunch of the Element Stickers throughout my design. Summer Soul is a beachy collection, but I created a page that doesn't have a theme beyond being girly and bright...
...I tucked the Element Stickers here and there to hide any sentiments that didn't fit. The stickers became a larger embellishment simply by using a lot of them and layering them to give the design some dimension. You'll see a tab at the top, the border and heart stickers under my title, several layered tags on the left, the circle on the accordion element, and a couple of brackets too!
At The Pool by Greta Hammond
Greta says, "The element stickers are one of my go-to embellishments in the Fancy Pants lines. They are so easy to use and look great layered onto other pieces which is what I did on this layout...
I made a fun little banner and “dangled” some of the element stickers from it. For some of the smaller pieces, I layered them first onto the banner chipboard to give them some dimension...
I also formed the scalloped border piece into a flower. I started by taking some of the “sticky” off the back and then crumpling and then flattening it out again, which made it easier to form. I then added a thread button to the center for a bit of dimension."
We hope you continue to enjoy the inspiration our Pocket Chicks bring you every week! Can't get enough? Sign up for our monthly newsletter. It's packed with even more inspiration and extra projects!
