Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by the blog today! Today I am sharing how I was inspired by a book cover to create a fun layout. I have to admit, I do not own this book, it was one I came across on the internet. The concept is interesting, but I was much more interested in the design of the cover. Here's the book:
I loved the lines of words next to the tall cat. I could immediately see stitching as lines, and multiple alphabets for words, as well as one cut out figure from a photo. So, I took the challenge and created this layout:
I think it turned out very cute! I used the fun new Be You collection. I cut pieces of paper for the lines but also added the stitching. I just love this photo of my daughter and it went nicely with the design I was going for.

Love the Be You collection! I just stopped by my LSS to pick up the few sheets I don't already have and the chipboard. I found that they had a mini album kit leftover from a class. I snatched that up immediately--it's so cute! Can't wait to get scrappin!
