Product Spotlight: Be You Rub-ons

Welcome back! It's already Wednesday again and that means it Product Spotlight time! This week Jing-Jing, Jodi and myself have been busy creating with the new Be You Rub-ons. Jing-Jing starts us off with her beautiful project above. Here is what she has to say about these fun rub-ons.

"My absolute most favorite embellishments are rub-ons and stickers because for the first 8 years that I scrapbooked, I did only flat pages. It took a lot of therapy but I conquered my fear of 3-d embellishments. However, my love for rub-ons have never waned: if I'm not using them, I'm collecting them. In the case of the Be You rub-ons, I cut up the long strip of 'Be You' and used them as five individual pieces on my page. My page is mostly rectangles and lines, so I decided to create little circles around these rub-on pieces by hand-stitch circles around them. I also cut up the three connecting circle rub-ons and used them as individual pieces on the page. Just a little tip, Fancy Pants rub-ons are opaque, so they cover up the background very well!"

"I chose to do this super simple layout for my project--not only for timesake {as I know you can all relate with}, but also for the simplistic, yet unique look it gave to my photo--highlighting it perfectly!  I LOVE these rub-ons and I especially love the BE YOU text part with the many color options!  I thought it finished off my simple layout perfectly by adding a touch of design and text right onto my photo.  Using rub-ons is a great way to cover up blank spots on a page and even right on your photos!"  ---Jodi

 

And I created this little tin to give as a gift at Easter time. I used the Be You Rub-ons in several spots—directly on the tin, on a paper tag, and on one of Fancy Pants' Metal Charms. I love how versatile rub-ons are! They can go almost anywhere!
