With February being the month of LOVE I thought I’d create a keepsake gift for my son to give to his school yard sweetheart. Initially I had thought that a mini book would be a fun project to create but once I opened up a pack of Fancy Pants Chipboard Banners, I had a “light bulb moment” and set to work creating this fun desktop photograph display project.
Fancy Pants Supplies:
Artist Edition: Chipboard Banners - Triangle
Love Story: XOXO patterned paper
Love Story: Love Always patterned paper
Love Story: All My Heart patterned paper
Love Story: Cards patterned paper
Love Story: Sweet patterned paper
Love Story: Strips patterned paper
Love Story: Be Mine patterned paper
Love Story: Truly patterned paper
Love Story: Element Stickers
Artist Edition: Chipboard Alphas
Other Supplies:
bakers twine
pearl gems
masking tape
To create the photograph base, use masking tape to secure three of the chipboard banner triangle pieces together.
Cut 1 inch strips of patterned paper and secure along the seams and the base of the project. Cut three triangles from patterned paper, using a spare chipboard triangle as a template. Carefully trim away ½ inch from the bottom of each of the patterned paper triangles and then adhere to the chipboard photograph stand.
Decorate each side using patterned paper, sticker accents and chipboard alphas.
