Hi guys! I was so excited when Jodi asked me to guest design for Fancy Pants, I have loved their products for a long time and the new releases from Summer CHA were no exception! Love all the new papers and embellishments, but I especially like the coffee filters, design embellishments and the glitter cuts. Thanks Jodi for having me, I had a ton of fun working with Fancy Pants!
Today
Absolutely my favorite page of the bunch. The photo is very special, it's our daughter Nora the day after she was born meeting her Grandma. I really loved the colors of the Off to School line to go with this photo. (It's not just for school themed pages!)
Halloween
I am kind of on a pinwheel making kick, and so the inspiration for this layout began with my pinwheel. I layered some other papers and glitter cuts and embellishments and I LOVE all the dark, spooky colors of the Oct. 31 line against the girly pink of Ayla's photo.
Fun
The title is Fun, and this layout was so much fun to make! I love, love, love the Design Embellishments that go with each new release, and I layered a ton of those along with some glitter cuts to create this page. Add in some buttons at the bottom for a fun twist and that's it!
Sweet Girl
The Summer's End line has such a gorgeous palette and I knew I wanted to use it for this page; I cherish these photos of Nora and it literally was at summer's end, so it was fitting. I hand-cut some of the designs from Summer's End patterned paper and then just did a lot of layering and popping up with foam adhesive.
Jen has been scrapbooking for 7 years and has been fortunate to have been published in numerous publications, including Creating Keepsakes, BHG Scrapbooks Etc. and Scrapbook Trends, among others. She is a former member of the 2010 Creating Keepsakes Dream Team and currently designs for Two Peas in a Bucket as a Garden Girl and Studio Calico. You can read more about Jen on her blog.
