For our Product Spotlight this week, we asked some of our Pocket Chicks to create with the Element Stickers from our Hot Chocolate collection. They came up with some great ideas, many of which would be great gifts for the ones you love, and just in time for Christmas ... it is only five weeks away! So, take a look below. We know you'll be inspired!
Winter Treat Containers by Charity Hassel
Charity explains, "I used the large, scalloped stickers as a wrap around my treat containers. I also cut the end off one sticker, making it look like a tag. Place the sticker tags onto paper, then cut around them if you want to use them as a 3-D tag on a project. I cut around the large tree on the tree sticker to use it on the top of one treat container."
Help! by Pamela Young
Pamela says, "I just love these little element stickers. At first I thought I would make a grid with them but then I got inspired to just kind of sporadically place them on my layout and I LOVE the finished look! That snowflake is just cut the old fashioned way ... you know, like when you are a kid and you fold a paper in four and cut. Sometimes it's fun to act like a kid again."
Hot Chocolate Mug by Jen Martakis
Jen explains, "I just love the element stickers in the Hot Chocolate Collection. I used a die cutting machine to cut out my hot cocoa mug. Before assembling it, I applied the scalloped border sticker to the base of the card, trimming the extra length with scissors. For the tag (also cut from my die cutting machine), I used a couple of pop dots for the "hot chocolate" square element sticker. What a super cute gift this will make for anyone. I plan on making a few and giving them to my children's teachers."
Snow Chalkboard by Pamela Young
Pamela says, "I bought this old chalkboard at the thrift store for 25 cents. I loved it and knew I wanted to use it as a decor piece in our home. I added a bunch of stickers but I wanted them to all be really layered and popped out so I used liquid scrap dots to give space in between my layers. I know I am supposed to be singing 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland' while working with these papers but I couldn't help sing another song ... one from my favorite Christmas movies: 'White Christmas.' The song I was singing was the one when they were all around the table on the train and go 'snow, snow, snow, snow, snow...' So I let that inspire my direction with what to say on this piece."
Hot Chocolate Tin by Lisa Andrews
Lisa says, "I love altering tins and using them as holders for giving away gifts at Christmastime. The Fancy Pants Hot Chocolate line, of course, seemed perfect for holding hot chocolate. This would make a perfect teacher or neighbor gift. For the stickers on the front of the tin, I stuck them onto patterned paper and then trimmed around the sticker to have a small patterned paper border. I then attached them to the tin with pop dots to give the project a little dimension."
Thanks Charity, Jen, Lisa and Pamela! We love what you came up with!
Thanks for stopping by everyone! We hope our designers have inspired you!
