Hi Everyone. I’m Ronda and I have a fun little post today on creating a Fall Wreath. I wanted to add a twist to the traditional fall colors so I popped in some lime green to the yellows, oranges, & reds of the It’s Your Day line. Yep, I used a birthday celebration line to make a Fall Wreath. That’s what is great about Fancy Pants lines, so versatile.
Supplies:
It’s Your Day Pattern Paper: Live it Up
It’s Your Day Pattern Paper: Hoopla
It’s Your Day Pattern Paper: RSVP
Rusted Sun Pattern Paper: Beach Ball
Fancy Pants Ribbon
Scissors
Styrofoam Wreath
Liquid Glue
Beads/Berries
Cut out multiple leaves from each patterned paper. I used my die-cutting machine but could have cut them by hand. An option here is to cut different kinds of leaves out of the patterned paper, like an oak, maple, etc. My wreath is 10” in diameter so I had 20 leaves in each color.
Take each leave and curl it to the center to give it some texture.
Start layering the leaves on the wreath using liquid glue.
When layering the leaves, change the direction of the leaves to give the wreath fullness.
Add in beads or berries between the leaves.
I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial. I am ready to start decorating for Fall!
