This week's Fancy This project is from Greta Hammond. She shows you how to create this beautiful Christmas Plate to decorate your home!
Supplies:
Christmas Magic papers (Chestnuts Roasting, Cards, Yuletide Greetings)
Chrimstas
Magic Woven Ribbon
Christmas
Magic rub-ons
Christmas
Magic buttons
Christmas
Magic Notebook Journal
Mixed
Media Flower Book
wood
plate and stand
holly
berries
small
pinecones.
Instructions:
1.
Start with a wood plate. Paint around edges as well as the inside curve.
2. Cut a circle ring from "Chestnuts Roasting" to fit around outside ring of plate. Use the cut-out circle for the inside portion. Paint around edges. Adhere circle ring and inside circle to plate.
3. Trace "Christmas Magic Cards" onto chipboard piece of Mixed Media Flower Book. Cut out and adhere to chipboard piece and then adhere to center of plate.
4. Adhere bracket card from Christmas Magic Notebook Journal.
5. Cut a 1" strip of "Yuletide Greetings". Cut edges to fit inside, inside circle and adhere.
6. Use card from "Christmas Magic Cards", add phrase rub-on, ink edges and adhere to plate.
7. Use additional rub-ons from Christmas Magic as well as buttons to embellish.
8. Finally, tie Christmas Magic Woven Ribbon to a stem of holly berries. Use a glue gun to add plate. Finish by gluing two small pinecones around the holly berries.
