Giving Thanks Beautifully
I can’t believe Thanksgiving is just
a week away! I love the Thanksgiving holiday…for our family it is a day to cook
together, eat way too much, watch football, and think about all the things we
have to be thankful for. This year though, I’m going to go a little beyond just
thinking about what I’m grateful for and actually tell some people how thankful
I am for them…and I can’t think of a better way to tell them, than with one of
these gorgeous card designs created by our talented designer, Greta Hammond! Below
are all the supplies you will need as well as step-by-step instructions!

Misc supplies: Kraft cardstock, brown cardstock, twine, tiny letter stickers.
Teacher Thanks card
Folded size is 5.5" x 4.25"
1. Make base of card with Kraft cardstock.
2. Start with card cut from Cards paper. Layer with a strip of In Line paper and a slightly larger strip of Multiply.
3. Add a piece of Gingham ribbon as shown.
4. Layer apple chipboard piece on top of ribbon and then add a Gingham ribbon bow tied with a button and twine.
5. Finish with small chipboard flourish and letter stickers spelling "thanks".
Thankful for You card
Finished size is 8" x 4.25"
1. Make base of card using dark brown cardstock.
2. Cut a piece of Penmanship paper to about 4" x 6.75". Stitch around edges with a sewing machine and then ink edges with brown ink. Adhere to card leaving a small border at the top.
3. Cut scalloped edge of Recess paper and fit as shown.
4. Add glitter cut willow and Ball trim border.
5. Cut a circle from Fall Splendor, ink edges and adhere. Add a strip of In Line, chipboard flower and button finished with twine. Add orange flourish chipboard at the top.
6. Make sentiment from Chipboard book plate, brads, rub-ons and letter stickers.
Finished size is 4.25" x 6"
1. Make base of the card with brown cardstock.
2. Cut a piece of Recess paper slightly smaller than front of card. Stitch and ink edges. Adhere to card.
3. Cut a 1.5" strip of In Line paper and adhere across middle of card as shown. Ink edges of blue card and layer on top.
4. Use chipboard flourish as the stem for die cut flower. Add button finished with twine as the center of the flower.
5. Use rub-ons and letter stickers to make sentiment for the card.
6. Finish card with rub-ons at the top.
